It all starts with an idea

It all begins with an idea. I have always wanted to launch my own business. I have such a passion for triathlon, and the idea that I can work my dream job doing what I love is amazing.

There is no way I would have had the courage to start coaching professionally without the support from my fellow coaches and friends.

Mark Pharaoh and Anna Wordsworth are the owners of Pyramid Cycle Design and are passionate about all types of cycling. They make the fastest and most innovative products on the market.

Dr Mark Pharaoh established a composites consultancy business, Pyramid Composite Design, in 2012. Before that, he spent nearly 20 years working as a senior research fellow at the Warwick Manufacturing Group (WMG) at the University of Warwick, working on various automotive and aerospace projects involving thermoplastic composite materials.

They proudly support the Huub Wattbike Test Team as they take on the world (and Team GB) at team pursuiting.

They also supply our chainrings a number of other professional athletes and teams, including: Team Denmark, Uno-X Pro Cycling, Maloja Pushbikers, Albert Torres and Sebastian Mora, Ribble Weldtite Pro Cycling, Born to Bike-Bridgtown Cycles,  Team Bottrill, MI Racing, Vittoria Bussi (women's hour record holder)and professional triathletes Magnus Ditlev and Fenella Langridge.
